Abbey Bimber Single Cask Oloroso

A delightful single cask Bimber, independently bottled by Abbey Whisky for The Rare Casks series. As soon as we sampled this stunning cask we had to bottle it. Lovely and clean, full of flavour, only 178 bottles have been filled from single Oloroso cask.

Bottled at 57.9% abv (Bottle size 700ml)

Nose: Rich aromas of dried fruits, especially raisins and figs, with hints of orange peel and dark chocolate.

Palate: Full-bodied and intense, with flavors of toffee, dark cherries, and honey. There’s a pronounced nuttiness alongside spicy notes of cinnamon and clove.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering notes of oak, dried fruits, and a hint of espresso.

This Bimber single cask, offers a rich and complex drinking experience, showcasing the influence of Oloroso cask maturation with its deep flavors and robust character.
