Holy Distillery Single Cask Ex-Laphroaig Cask

Holy Distillery is a multiple award-winning distillery from Taiwan that you might not know yet because it is relatively young and is more of a boutique and researching distillery, unlike many others that were founded on a greater commercial scale with a purpose only to achieve a greater sale.

This whisky was distilled in September 2018 and bottled in May 2022 from a Laphroaig quarter cask producing 180 bottles.

Cask strength, Natural Colour and Non -chill Filtered.

57.3% 500ml

Nose: Bold peat smoke with earthy notes, seaweed, and a hint of lemon zest.

Palate: Intense peat followed by rich malt, sweet caramel, dark chocolate, and black pepper

Finish: Long and warming with lingering smoke, dried fruits, and dark cocoa

Overall a complex and captivating whisky with a strong Islay character
