Balblair 1989 (No Box)

This is the 2nd edition of the Balblair 1989 Vintage, released before the distillery moved away from vintages to age statements. Matured for 21 years and bottled in 2011. Naturally coloured and bottled at 43%. 

Nose: Vanilla and spicy oak abound with some intriguing spice and citrus notes.

Palate: Soft and sweet, yet full and voluptuous towards the middle. There are cereal notes here and more vanilla oak.

Finish: Good length, with a creamy quality beneath the sweet, bourbon oak.
