Released to celebrate Feis Ile 2023, this expression is an elevation of Bunnahabhain's unpeated, classically sherried style. It has been fully matured in rare Canasta sherry casks, with a balance of Oloroso sherry imparting flavours of spice, and the Pedro Ximenez adding layers of complexity, richness & sweetness. The result is a distinctively special dram, fitting for the best of celebrations. Bottled at 51.2% abv, and free from chill filtration. Bottle size: 700ml
Nose: Caramelised fruits, roasted nuts, honey, and waves of mixed spice.
Palate: Sweet maple syrup, vanilla, dried figs, poached pears, and hints of chocolate orange.
Finish: Long and sweet with a touch of red apple and custard.
