Amrut Intermediate Sherry

This unique whisky is placed in ex-bourbon barrels at the beginning and end of its aging process, with sherry cask maturation “sandwiched” in between, before being bottled at 57.1%ABV. 

Nose: Rich and complex, with aromas of dried fruits like raisins and dates, sherry-soaked plums, dark chocolate, and a hint of oak spice.

Palate: Full-bodied and smooth, offering flavors of toffee, caramel, and spiced fruit cake. Notes of sherry-soaked figs, almonds, and a touch of espresso add depth. The interplay of sherry and bourbon cask influences brings out layers of sweetness and spice.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering notes of dried fruits, sweet spices, and a touch of oak.
