anCnoc 22 Years Old

The anCnoc 22 Year Old, from Knockdhu Distillery, was matured in a mix of American bourbon and Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, with a slight majority of sherry casks for 22 years. Very rich and full of flavour, giving it more sherry influence than the 18 Year Old.

Nose: Soft and subtle, with dried fruits, powdered sugar, herbs, a hint of smoke, and a clear nuttiness.

Palete: Spicy attack with rich, full-bodied sherry notes, nuts, and marzipan.

Finish: Sweet and long, dominated by marzipan, honey, and a floral touch. Rich and satisfying.
