Ardbeg Airigh Nam Beist 1990 Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Airigh Nam Beist, phonetically pronounced “Arry-nam-Bayst,” means “shelter or pasture of the animals” in Gaelic. It’s named after a small hill loch between Loch Uigeadail and Charlie’s Dam at Ardbeg Distillery. This rare whisky, distilled in 1990 and aged in oak casks, offers a creamy, smoky profile with notes of woodsmoke, fennel, pine nuts, and tingling limes. A ‘wee beastie’ of a dram. This one is bottled in 2006.
Bottled at 46%.(Bottle size 700ml)
Nose: Rich woodsmoke, fennel, pine nuts, and a hint of lime zest.
Palate: Creamy and smoky, with flavors of vanilla, citrus, and a touch of spice.
Finish: Long and lingering, with smoky undertones and a refreshing lime tingle.
A complex and rare malt with a harmonious blend of creamy, smoky, and citrus notes.
