Ardbeg Corryvreckan Single Malt Scotch Whisky takes its name from the famous whirlpool that lies to the north of Islay, where only the bravest souls dare to venture. Swirling aromas and torrents of deep, peaty, peppery taste lurk beneath the surface of this beautifully balanced dram. Like the whirlpool itself, Corryvreckan is not for the faint-hearted! Awarded The World’s Best Single Malt in 2010 by the World Whiskies Awards.

Bottled at 57.1% (Bottle Size: 750ml)

Nose: Intense tarry ropes, dark chocolate, blackcurrants, and cherries, with briny seaweed, smoky bacon, vanilla, and spicy cloves.

Palate: Chewy peppered steak, espresso coffee, dark fruits, and bitter almonds, with hints of star anise and hickory.

Finish: Long and powerful, featuring black tarry coffee, chocolate-coated cherries, and hot pepper sauce.
