Ardbeg Heavy Vapours is the bold 2023 Ardbeg Day release, crafted without the use of a purifier a rare experiment led by Dr. Bill Lumsden. This unique process allows heavier vapours to pass through the still, resulting in a powerful, smoky, and full-bodied spirit unlike any other Ardbeg. The whisky reveals pungent farmyard smoke, dark chocolate, and aromatic spice, bottled non-chill filtered at 46% ABV.

Nose: Intense smoke, creosote, and farmyard notes with hints of dark chocolate and smoked artichoke.
Palate: Bittersweet layers of ashy coal dust, peppermint, coffee grounds, eucalyptus, and cinnamon.
Finish: Long, bold, and numbing with lingering smoke and spice.
