The Ardbeg Committee, formed in 2000, provides whisky enthusiasts with an exclusive platform to explore the distillery’s unique creations. Each year, the Committee releases a special whisky for its members, and the SN 2015 is a standout example. This release was matured in a combination of ex-Sherry and ex-Bourbon casks, boasting an intense 100ppm (phenol content), making it one of the peatiest expressions in Ardbeg’s portfolio. Bottled at 54.3% ABV 

Nose: Intense peat smoke with hints of linseed oil, vanilla, lime, and subtle spices like chilli and ginger.

Palate: Bold peat with star anise, vanilla, and a touch of marmalade sweetness, balanced by warmth from chilli and ginger.

Finish: Long, smoky, with lingering spice and a sweet marmalade and lime finish.
