A rare find in South Africa, this powerhouse cask strength rye from Texas’s Balcones Distillery is crafted with a unique co-fermentation of ale and whisky yeasts, then distilled in a traditional pot still. Aged for around four years in charred new American oak, this whisky delivers bold, rich flavors. This 64% ABV dram is as intense as it is flavorful, a real treat for rye lovers.

Nose: Thick caramel, fresh rye bread, and vanilla mix with hints of leather and dried fruits.

Palate: Bold flavors of dark chocolate and coffee combine with tobacco, cinnamon, chili, cloves, and layers of charred oak and black pepper.

Finish: Full-bodied and robust, with a lingering spicy warmth.
