The longer maturation of Ballantine’s 17 Year Old gives an extra depth of flavour and character to the blend. Characterised by a subtle sensation of smokiness its got a fruity and velvety texture coming from fresh fruits.

Ballantine's, from Dumbarton, Scotland, is the second best-selling Scotch in the world after Johnnie Walker. Founded by George Ballantine in 1865, it features blends like Ballantine's Finest with around 50 single malts. Now owned by Pernod Ricard, production moved to Strathclyde in 2002, but the original site still has a warehouse and bottling plant. It is bottled at 43% abv. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Smooth vanilla and oak with a sensation of smoke

Palete: Full and complex, vibrant honey sweetness and creamy vanilla flavours with hints of oak and spicy liquorice.

Finish: Long, sweet and smooth with a hint of spice.
