BenRiach 12 Year Old PX Cask Strength WB

A single cask release selected and bottled exclusively for WhiskyBrother, this BenRiach 12 Year Old was distilled on 16 February 2007 and matured in a Pedro Ximénez puncheon before bottling in 2019. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured ,only 636 bottles were produced. Part of a duo of exclusive casks, this release highlights the rich sherry depth from PX wood, while its sibling came from a rum barrel. A rare and collectible dram for sherried whisky lovers. Bottled at cask strength 56.4% ABV

Nose: Sticky dates, raisins and rich toffee with hints of oak spice.

Palate: Bold sherry sweetness layered with figs, dark chocolate and nutty undertones.

Finish: Long, warming with lingering dried fruit and spice.
