Benriach 15 Dark Rum

A long discontinued bottling of Benriach 15 Year Old Dark Rum Wood Finish. A Speyside single malt Scotch whisky matured initially in American bourbon barrels and then finished in casks that previously held dark Jamaican rum, allowing subtle tropical and spice notes to integrate with the distillery’s classic malt profile. Part of Benriach’s early Wood Finish Series, this release is non-chill filtered with natural colour and bottled at 46% ABV

Color: Light gold.

Nose: Toffee and spices with hints of cinnamon, sultanas and rum-influenced sweetness.

Palate: Smooth with caramel, vanilla, apricots, tropical fruit and gentle oak spice.

Finish: Medium with lingering rum-touched fruit and spice.
