Bowmore 22 Seagull

A 22 year old Bowmore Islay malt that was bottled in the mid-1990's and is presented in a rather stunning blue ceramic bottling, adorned with seagulls, and complete with well kept original presentation case. These ceramic bottle releases (Seagull/Sea Dragon) from Bowmore have earned themselves a bit of a legendary status over the years and are increasingly difficult to source. Bottled at 43%

Nose: Flowers, vanilla, coconut, candle wax, taste of elderflower.

Taste: Soft and creamy with a bit of chewiness, sea salt toffee on the back of it. very lemony.

Finish: Big floral notes, not real throat tickle though because of the little alcohol percentage. some smokey backdrop notes.
