Octomore 10.2 is a remarkable 8-year-old release from Bruichladdich, showcasing a bold yet elegant character. Peated to 96.9 ppm, this super heavily peated single malt began its journey in fresh bourbon barrels for four years, followed by four years in rare Sauternes wine casks from a prestigious French chateau. These Sauternes casks had been used three times, allowing the oak to soften and deliver a rich, fruity complexity without overpowering the spirit. Expect a beautifully balanced whisky with sweet tropical fruit, gentle peat smoke, and soft oak. Bottled at 56.9% ABV.

Nose: Light smoke, ripe tropical fruit, honeyed sweetness

Palate: Soft peat, white peach, vanilla, toasted oak
