Originally launched in 2002, Caol Ila 12 Year Old is the gateway to the distillery’s core range and a true representation of refined Islay style. Matured mainly in ex-bourbon casks, it balances soft peat smoke with zesty citrus and gentle spice. Elegant, approachable, and unmistakably coastal, this single malt offers a smooth and smoky experience. Bottled at 43% ABV.

Nose: Subtle citrus, bath oil freshness, and soft coastal smoke.

Palate: Oily texture with tar, boiled sweets, and delicate fruit.

Finish: Long, peppery warmth with lingering smoke.
