The spirit of this single malt Scotch whisky was sourced from Caol Ila Distillery before Gordon and MacPhail matured it in its own casks for its new introductory range, Discovery. It was aged for a total of 13 years before being bottled at 43% ABV. (Bottle size 700ml)
Nose Sweet vanilla, fleshy apple and apricot lead among dry-cured meat and peat smoke.
Palate White fruit, sponge cake, lemon, oatcakes and smoked cheese.
Finish Long, sweet and smoky.
