Compass Box Eleuthera

Compass Box’s first vatted malt. A very rare whisky from Compass Box. Rich, smoky-peaty, yet beguilingly drinkable vatted malt whisky. For people who love the taste of smoky and peaty whiskies. 'Eleuthera' gives you something new in this oeuvre.

An early Compass Box release from 2001 until 2003 and was their first blended malt, the recipe contained 15 year old Clynelish from re-charred casks, and a 12 year old single malt from Cao Ila.  Now discontinued after the Clynelish needed for the blend became unavailable.

Nose: Coastal smoke, lemon peel, vanilla malt

Palate: Light peat, citrus, honeyed grain sweetness

Finish: Clean, smoky, slightly salty with gentle spice
