Douglas Laing's Timorous Beastie

This non-coloured, non-chill-filtered Small Batch blended malt bottling is a marriage of appropriately aged and selected Highland Malts - including, amongst others, those distilled at Glen Garioch, Dalmore and Glengoyne distilleries. The name is a nod to the Robert Burns poem ‘To a Mouse’ and to Burns’ wit, as though the mouse in the poem is a timid little thing. Bottled at 46.8% ABV (Bottle size 700ml)

Nose: Sweet honey, vanilla, and fresh barley with hints of citrus and soft spices.

Palate: Smooth and malty with flavors of creamy toffee, heather honey, cereal, and a touch of oak. 

Finish: Medium-length with lingering notes of sweet malt, gentle spices, and a hint of fruit.
