Douglas Laing Timorous Beastie

Timorous Beastie is part of independent bottler Douglas Laing's Remarkable Malts series. This blended malt is comprised of malts produced in the Highland region in small batches, including, among others, those distilled at Glen Garioch, Dalmore and Glengoyne distilleries. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Overridingly sweetness, then warming to floral, light barley and spicy honeyed tones.

Palate: Spicy style - fructiferous, mellow, with sugary vanilla.

Finish: At first subtle, but runs to a sweet character that carries an oaky quality plus a late meringue style
