Elements of Islay is a small batch release from the lovely guys over at Elixir Distilling. Using a simple code, you can see which whisky is bottled and which batch. Peat is a celebration of the wonderful style that Islay has. Combining the fresher medicinal north with heavy smoky southern style, this is a great tribute to the island. Citrus, smoky barley, sea air and a touch of smoked meat on the nose. Fruity barbecue notes on the palate with smoked tea also lingering. The finish spiced apples and cinnamon. Big!
