Glen Scotia Double Cask

This Double Cask is matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and then finished in ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry casks for up to 12 months. Bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Sweet with creme caramel, caramelised fruit, wood sugar, toffee and fudge before some apple and peach emerge.

Palate: Again with the sweet start, followed by a little tongue-tingling mint buzz and the drying and oily distillery character.

Finish: A warm finish of ginger, chocolate and sherry notes.
