Glendower 8 Year Old Pure Malt Scotch Whisky – 750ml, 43% ABV is a distinctive older Scottish whisky produced by John Maclaren & Sons, offering an appealing example of traditional blended malt Scotch whisky.

Bearing the historical designation Pure Malt, Glendower is crafted from a selection of malt whiskies matured for a minimum of eight years, creating a rounded and harmonious expression of classic Scottish whisky character.

Matured in seasoned bourbon oak casks, the whisky develops a delicate balance of honeyed malt, vanilla, floral sweetness and gentle oak spice.

Its flavour profile is elegant and approachable, opening with aromas of fresh cereals, honey, soft caramel and citrus before developing into a medium-bodied palate of sweet malt, ripe lemon, subtle dried fruits and warming spice.

A delicate suggestion of woodsmoke adds complexity without overwhelming the whisky's naturally mellow character.

Bottled at 43% ABV in the traditional 750ml format, this older Glendower release represents an interesting chapter in the history of independently branded Scottish malt whisky.

The original Pure Malt designation, eight-year age statement and less commonly encountered presentation make Glendower particularly appealing to collectors of historical Scotch whisky labels and older blended malt expressions.

An enjoyable and distinctive addition to any collection of classic Scottish malt whisky.

**Comes with original tin presentation tube.
