Glendronach 11 2008 Single Cask WB

A single cask release selected by and bottled exclusively for WhiskyBrother and not available anywhere else in the world.

The 27th exclusive release is a wonderful GlenDronach single malt. Distilled on 3 March 2008, matured in an ex-sherry (Pedro Ximénez) puncheon and bottled earlier this year in 2020. Only 644 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 63.7%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Buttered raisin and olive bread with oak balsam and ginger. Feisty and spicy.

Palate: Raisin and crystallised ginger with crème-caramel. The high alcohol pleasantly restrained on the palate.

Finish: Very long. Sweet, spicy and gingery.
