Glenfiddich 18 Year Old – 2000s Bottling – 750ml 43% ABV is an older presentation of the celebrated Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland.

Matured for a minimum of 18 years, this distinguished expression combines the richness of Spanish oak sherry casks with the softer vanilla and fruit characteristics of American oak maturation.

The result is a beautifully balanced single malt offering layers of baked apple, dried fruit, cinnamon, rich oak, vanilla and subtle sherry sweetness. Glenfiddich's signature orchard-fruit character remains at its heart, complemented by the additional depth and complexity of extended maturation.

Bottled at 43% ABV in the 750ml export format, this 2000s release represents an earlier generation of Glenfiddich's 18 Year Old expression, predating the distillery's more recent packaging designs.

With its mature Speyside character, traditional presentation and older bottling era, Glenfiddich 18 Year Old from the 2000s is an appealing addition to collections of vintage Scotch whisky.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Baked apples, ripe pears and dried fruits with cinnamon, vanilla, toasted oak and gentle sherry sweetness.

Palate: Rich and rounded with stewed orchard fruits, raisins, caramel and honey, developing notes of dark chocolate, cinnamon, toasted nuts and mature oak.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering dried fruit, gentle spice, vanilla and refined oak dryness.
