Grant's 25 Year Old Rare & Distinctive is an exceptional luxury blended Scotch whisky from William Grant & Sons, created to celebrate the extraordinary depth and complexity of Scotland's most mature malt and grain whiskies.

First introduced in 2010, this prestigious expression brings together 25 carefully selected malt and grain whiskies, each matured for a minimum of 25 years.

Among its most remarkable components are historic stocks from the Girvan grain distillery, including whisky from its earliest production, alongside rare spirit from the long-closed Ladyburn Distillery.

Master Blender Brian Kinsman carefully selected and married these exceptional whiskies to create a sophisticated expression combining mature oak, delicate fruits, rich honey, caramel and elegant spice.

The whisky offers an exceptionally refined character, with layers of orchard fruit, butterscotch, toasted nuts and subtle floral aromas developing into a beautifully balanced and lingering finish.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Delicate floral aromas, orange blossom, jasmine tea and fresh tangerine, complemented by caramelised pears, butterscotch and gentle mature oak.

Palate: Silky and beautifully rounded with juicy citrus, sweet almonds, toffee and soft orchard fruits, developing notes of warming spice and rich caramel.

Finish: Elegant and fruity with lingering sweet spice, gentle oak, citrus and delicate toffee sweetness.
