Highland Park 13 WB

This 11th WhiskyBrother release is distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2016 exclusively for us. Matured in a single refill sherry butt that yielded only 552 bottles. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at cask strength of 60.4%.

Nose: Maraschino cherries, milk chocolate with orange pieces, bread pudding with stewed apple and raisins, charred oak and subtle wood smoke.

Palate: Thick and mouth-coating with citrus zest, soft vanilla sweetness, intense oak spice and whispers of fragrant peat.

Finish: Powerful and long with spice, ginger and nutmeg. Soft cocoa bitterness at the very end with the ever-present and understated peat lingering throughout.
