Hunter Laing Highland Journey

Launched in 2018 by family-owned, Scotch whisky distiller, blender and independent bottler Hunter Laing as part of their Journey range of whiskies. A blended malt marrying whiskies from several undisclosed Highland distilleries. Bottled at 46.2%.

Nose: A full bodied nose of rich, sweet aromas such as vanilla custard, fudge, toffee apples and puff candy.

Palate: Creamy and buttery on the palate it is initially sweet before developing with vanilla custard powder, apricots, peaches and pears like a fruit salad.

Finish: A relatively short finish – sweet with hints of oak and nuts.
