Isle of Raasay 2021 Single Cask – Oloroso Sherry Quarter Cask is an exclusive, limited-edition peated single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 2021 and bottled in 2025 at a powerful 59.7% ABV. This was a Whisky Brother Exclusive.

Produced at the Isle of Raasay Distillery, established in 2017, this exceptional release marks the independent bottler's first official collaboration with the distillery.

The peated spirit was fully matured in an ex-Oloroso sherry quarter cask, rather than simply receiving a secondary sherry finish. This complete maturation brings together Raasay's distinctive sweet peat smoke with the rich fruit, nutty complexity and oak influence of Oloroso-seasoned wood.

On the nose, aromatic sweet woodsmoke is accompanied by fresh and dried red fruits. The palate is full-bodied and intensely flavoured, revealing dried fruits, mixed salted nuts and a delicate touch of chocolate.

Despite its formidable cask strength, the alcohol is remarkably well integrated, allowing the whisky's concentrated flavours to take centre stage.

The finish is mouth-coating and persistent, with soft pepper, warming spice and a final touch of drying oak char.

Strictly limited to just 156 bottles, this naturally coloured, non-chill-filtered single cask release represents an exciting early chapter in the history of Isle of Raasay single malt whisky.

An outstanding collector's bottling for enthusiasts of young island malts, heavily flavoured sherry-cask whisky and distinctive limited-edition Scotch.
