Kavalan Oloroso Sherry Oak Single Malt Whisky 46% is a rich Taiwanese single malt showcasing the depth and intensity of Oloroso sherry cask maturation. This expression uses the same sherry-cask whisky associated with the celebrated Kavalan Solist Oloroso Sherry, reduced with Kavalan spring water to an approachable 46% ABV. 700ml

Deep and full-bodied, it combines layers of dried fruit, toasted nuts and rich sherry sweetness with marzipan, vanilla and warming spice. Kavalan’s subtropical maturation conditions help produce a concentrated, mature character, making this an excellent choice for lovers of richly sherried single malt whisky.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Clean and complex with dried cherries, toasted almonds, oak and vanilla, alongside rich dried fruit and subtle marzipan.

Palate: Rich Oloroso sherry character with salted caramel, toasted almonds, dark chocolate, cherries, espresso and black pepper.

Finish: Long, smooth and warming with lingering dried fruit, caramel, vanilla, roasted nuts and elegant sherry spice.
