Kilchoman Machir Bay 4th Release 2015

The Kilchoman Machir Bay 2015 release was the fourth annual bottling of their signature blended malt, featuring progressively older whiskies (around 5 & 6 years old at bottling), a higher proportion of bourbon casks (90%) with Oloroso sherry cask influence, bottled at 46% ABV, and non-chill filtered, showcasing citrus, sweet peat, vanilla, and maritime notes, continuing the distillery's farm-to-bottle tradition. 

Nose: Fresh peat smoke, lemon zest, vanilla, and light coastal notes

Palate: Crisp peat, citrus fruits, sweet malt, and creamy vanilla

Finish: Medium length with lingering smoke, gentle spice, and dry coastal character
