Bruichladdich Octomore 14.2

Octomore 14.2 uses the same barley varietal and is malted to the same PPM as the 14.1, but the liquids diverge profoundly with the influence of wine and sherry casks on the 14.2 spirit. Bottle size: 700ml. Bottled at 57.7% ABV

Nose: Leather, prunes, red currants, malt, toasted oak, cinnamon, green apple, black pepper, dry peat smoke.

Palate: European oak, wood spices, smoked oak, roasted coffee, BBQ sweetness, black pepper, fruit cake, dried fruits. Water reveals more smoke and fruit.

Finish: Smoked malt, smouldering oak, sea salt, and earthy smoke.
