Old Pulteney 17 Year Old – 2007 Bottling – 46% ABV is a discontinued Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the historic Pulteney Distillery in Wick, on Scotland's rugged northern coastline.
This early bottling of the celebrated 17 Year Old expression was matured predominantly in ex-bourbon American oak casks, complemented by whisky matured in Spanish oak sherry casks, including Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez. The result is an elegant combination of orchard fruits, creamy vanilla, honeyed sweetness, gentle oak spice and Old Pulteney's signature maritime character.
Bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration, the whisky offers a rich, rounded texture and a beautifully balanced flavour profile.
Originally introduced in the mid-2000s, Old Pulteney 17 Year Old was discontinued in 2017–2018 as older stocks became increasingly limited. This 2007 bottling represents an earlier presentation of the much-loved expression, making it particularly appealing to collectors and enthusiasts of discontinued Highland single malts.
