A very rare 1972 vintage Mortlach bottled in 1995 as part of Diageo’s legendary Rare Malts Selection. This acclaimed series showcased outstanding single casks from Scotland’s rarest distilleries. Released around the time of Mortlach’s £1.5 million renovation, this 23-year-old cask strength Speyside delivers rich sherry notes, dark fruit, spice, and the distillery’s signature full-bodied intensity. Bottled at natural cask strength 59.4% ABV.

Nose: Dark fruit, roasted malt, and oak spice.
Palate: Sherry depth with toffee, spice, and dried fruit.
Finish: Long, warm, and powerful with lingering oak.
