Signatory Linkwood 8 Year Old Very Cloudy

A limited release from the Linkwood distillery in Speyside, bottled by Signatory independent bottlers in their Very Cloudy range. Distilled on 8 May 2012, matured in two ex-bourbon barrels and bottled on 16 November 2020. Only 634 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Signatory's Very Cloudy range takes its name from the fact that the whiskies are non-chillfiltered but bottled below 46%, which results in the whisky turning cloudy/hazy when the temperature is slightly lowered.

Nose: Deliciously fruity and fresh with liquorice, menthol and a herbaceousness.

Palate: Elegant and well balanced with candied fruit cake, juicy tangerine and pineapple and banana.

Finish: Long and malty with liquorice, salt and candied pear.
