Springbank 10 Year Old Local Barley 2022 

The 2022 edition of Springbank’s Local Barley series is crafted from Belgravia barley grown at Glencraigs Farm near Campbeltown. Distilled in May 2011 and matured entirely in ex-bourbon casks for 10 years, this release was bottled in December 2021 with a total outturn of 15,000 bottles.

As always, this edition is non-chillfiltered and naturally coloured. It delivers delicate floral and cereal notes on the nose, with layers of vanilla, sponge cake, and barley sweetness on the palate. A light, sweet finish with salted caramel completes this farm-to-bottle single malt.

Bottled at 51.6% ABV.

Nose: Floral notes, digestive biscuit, malt, vanilla custard, and cherry

Palate: Victoria sponge, honey, syrup, and fresh barley water

Finish: Light and sweet with a touch of salted caramel
