Springbank 12 Year Old Green Thistle 57% ABV is a rare vintage Campbeltown single malt from Springbank Distillery, distinguished by its classic green thistle label and powerful higher-strength bottling. Bottled at 57% ABV (100 proof), this old-style Springbank showcases the distillery’s traditional character with rich malt, waxy texture, coastal salinity and earthy complexity. Early Springbank bottlings of this style are increasingly difficult to source, making the Green Thistle 12 Year Old an especially desirable bottle for collectors of historic Campbeltown whisky. 

This whisky is extremely rare and highly collectible. Very hard to find.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich malt, beeswax, dried fruit, citrus peel and old oak with coastal brine, mineral notes and gentle earthy smoke.

Palate: Full-bodied and powerful with oily malt, salted nuts, dried fruits, citrus, pepper and warming spice, balanced by Springbank’s distinctive maritime and lightly smoky character.

Finish: Long, warming and complex with lingering malt, sea salt, waxy oak, peppery spice and subtle smoke.
