The Daftmill 2006 Summer 2018 Release is a rare UK-exclusive single malt distilled in 2006 and matured for nearly 12 years in Heaven Hill bourbon casks. Produced only during the farm’s off-season, it offers clean Lowland character with soft fruit, vanilla and fresh barley sweetness. Limited to 1,665 bottles. Bottled at 46% ABV.
Nose: Fresh pear, barley sugar, vanilla cream and soft malt
Palate: Honeyed cereal, green apple, lemon zest, gentle oak and buttery vanilla
Finish: Clean, warming, lightly spiced with lingering orchard sweetness
