Three Ships 6 Years Chenin Blanc Cask

This limited-edition malt whisky, crafted since the winter of 2016, begins with a lighter, column-distilled malted barley, evolving over four years in American Oak casks of varying ages before a two-year finishing in seasoned Chenin Blanc casks. The result is a bright, flavorful whisky with an exceptional balance of spice, tropical fruit, and zesty lemon. It presents a natural, vibrant gold hue, reminiscent of a cheerful Spring sunset. Bottled at 46.3% ABV

Nose: Inviting aromas of lemon cream biscuits, tropical fruits, rooibos tea leaves, and hay greet the senses, complemented by a subtle sweetness of honey.

Palate: The taste is warm and harmonious, with notes of Golden Delicious apples, candied pineapple, a hint of pepper, and zesty lemon zest, creating a delightful interplay of sweetness and spice.
