Tomintoul 10 Year Old – Mid-2000s Bottling – 750ml 43% ABV is an older presentation of the classic Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from Tomintoul Distillery, located in the Cairngorms region of Scotland.
Established in 1964, Tomintoul is renowned for its gentle, approachable house style, earning the nickname “The Gentle Dram.” This 10 Year Old expression reflects that character, offering a delicate balance of sweet malt, orchard fruits, creamy vanilla and subtle oak spice.
Matured for a minimum of 10 years in oak casks, the whisky develops an elegant combination of honeyed sweetness, fresh apples, citrus and soft caramel, complemented by a clean, lightly warming finish.
Bottled at 43% ABV in the 750ml export format, this mid-2000s release predates more recent Tomintoul packaging and represents an earlier generation of the distillery's core-range single malt.
Its older presentation and traditional Speyside character make it an appealing addition to collections of vintage Scotch whisky.
