Tomintoul 16 Year Old – Mid-2000s Bottling – 750ml 43% ABV is an older presentation of the classic Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from Tomintoul Distillery, situated in the Cairngorms region of Scotland.
Known as “The Gentle Dram,” Tomintoul is celebrated for its smooth, approachable and elegantly balanced style. This 16 Year Old expression showcases the distillery's delicate malt character, enhanced by extended maturation in oak casks.
The whisky offers a harmonious combination of honeyed sweetness, ripe orchard fruits, creamy vanilla, soft caramel and gentle oak spice. Sixteen years of maturation contribute additional depth while preserving the fresh, refined character associated with Tomintoul.
Bottled at 43% ABV in the 750ml export format, this mid-2000s release represents an earlier generation of Tomintoul's premium age-stated single malt range.
With its traditional presentation, mature Speyside character and older bottling era, Tomintoul 16 Year Old from the mid-2000s is an appealing addition to collections of vintage Scotch whisky.
