Waterford Peated Ballybannon 1.1 is crafted from Single Farm Origin barley with a distinctive terroir, peated to levels comparable to iconic Islay whiskies like Port Charlotte and Ardbeg. Despite its robust smoke, the vibrant character of Ireland’s barley shines through, wrapped in a refined, earthy peatiness. Finding the right quality Irish peat was a challenge, with Scotland stepping in to revive forgotten skills. Limited to 11,500 bottles worldwide, with only 500 available in South Africa. Bottled at 50% ABV.

Nose: Aromatic smoke with earthy peat, sweet malt, and hints of sea air

Palate: Balanced peat and rich barley sweetness with notes of spice and toasted grain
