Wild Turkey 101 Old Presentation

Wild Turkey, founded in 1905 and owned by Campari since 2009, is known for its high-proof bourbons. Named after a 1940 hunting trip, it offers products like 80 proof, 101 proof, Kentucky Spirit, Russell’s Reserve, and American Honey.

The 101 proof bourbon, in particular, is celebrated and compared to Clint Eastwood. Wild Turkey also offers a 101 proof rye whiskey and a honey liqueur.

Nose: Subdued but with a beautiful toffee sweetness. Toasty oak, melted vanilla ice cream, zesty citrus, and butterscotch.

Palate: Full and rich with cigar box sweetness, pepper, and caramel. Honey on granary toast with melted butter.

Finish: Long and rich, featuring spice and toast notes.
