Beautiful dram. Peat Monster being my favourite from the core range of Compass Box. This older bottling really does push forward flavours in a more prominent way than the new releases. Thank you Whisky library for stocking the "hard to find" bottlings - which we all come to love.

I received this beautiful Private Barrel Co Single Malt Scotch Whisky 12 Years No 41 as a gift from my loved one. What I noted of this dark yellow gold Single Malt Whisky is the smoothness on the palate . It bursts with delightful flavours that leaves you trying to discover with the next sniff and sip whether its fruity or fo it have a hint of cinnamon or nutmeg and then it leaves the most enjoyable strong long lingering finish. It's delicious, smooth and easy drinking with a lot of appreciation.

I love it for what it is… true colour, 47%, non chill-filtered, full Olorosso influence (and more)and a lingering aftertaste. Great value as similar tastes are 21 years on… Makes special occasions “special”👌🏻
